How much does Smartoo cost?

Cost is determined by the number of 'Users' you invite to Smartoo. Users can be anyone such as regular employees, contractors, or clients. The billing period depends on the plan you have chosen when signing up.

Example for an account with a Monthly Plan:

Invited Users are charged depending on the date relative to One Month. For example, if you invite a client on March 15, you will be charged the price of only the 15th day to the 31st day of March.


You will not be charged for anything while in the Beta program. In addition to that, your account will also have unlimited seats.

How does Smartoo's Trial period work?

Upon signing up, you will receive a 14 day trial period to invite everyone in your team. By the end of the billing period, you will be charged for the number of users in the account minus the 14 days.

During the 14 day trial period, your account will have unlimited seats and $0 costs. Meaning that this is your time to invite as much Users as possible and get a feel of how much you'll actually need. When you're done finalizing the setup, make sure to remove the excess users before the trial ends!

How much will inviting Clients and Contractors cost?

All invites are considered “users”. Therefore, clients and contractors will be charged the same price as your regular team members.


All users cost $0. This includes regular team members, clients, and contractors.

I accidentally bought a seat. Can I request a refund?

Yes of course! Mistakes happen, whether it’s yours or ours. For refunding seats, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours.
